We study the links between infectious diseases, Human behavior and movement, and environmental factors
We investigate the interactions between behavior and biology, assess their impacts on human health, and use the results to inform intervention strategies. Disease management requires an interdisciplinary approach that includes the social, biological, and environmental determinants of pathogen emergence, transmission, and prevention.
We work across biology, ecology, anthropology, and geography to measure the interactions between the movement of human populations and the environment and assess their impacts on disease dynamics.
